Would you like to understand more about the dynamics of abusive relationships and how to support someone who is in the situation without feeling "burnt out" yourself?  We  offerithis popular workshop for women who are in the position of supporting  friend or family member and would like more information.

Are you a grandparent raising grandchildren, perhaps because the parents have addiction or relationship abuse issues? Join with other grandparents facing the same challenges for an informative group in a supportive atmosphere.

The group offers a supportive and safe environment for mothers who are dealing with parenting issues after living with an abusive partner,  Each session will involve an educational component and an opportunity to ask questions and have some discussion.

Themes include:  how abuse/voilence in a relationship affect children and undermine parenting, how to recongize your own needs in order to meet the needs of the chilren, parenting at different ages and stages, and recognition of their own strengths, and the positive elements of their relationship with the children.
