The Comox Valley Transition Society is in urgent need of hotel-sized shampoos. Transition Society provides a weekly Drop-in lunch program, with many attached services (free toiletries, street nursing, legal information, free income tax service, housing outreach, harm reduction information, support and referrals) for up to 50 women weekly who are experiencing homelessness or living in deep poverty. Donations of deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, pads and tampons are also appreciated. Items can be dropped off at Suite 202 – 576 England Ave. (above the Marigold Pharmacy), Monday – Friday, 9am – noon or 1 am – 4:30 pm.
